Miller Brewing Company Extends Contract with ACNielsen

Leading Brewer Cites ACNielsen’s Strong Beverage Alcohol Industry Expertise, Unparalleled Consumer Insight Capabilities via Homescan ‘Mega Panel’

ACNielsen U.S. today announced that Miller Brewing Company has extended its contract with the consumer and marketing information leader. Miller, America’s oldest brewer and a wholly-owned subsidiary of SABMiller plc, one of the world’s largest brewers, will continue to depend on ACNielsen as its preferred provider of sales analysis and consumer insights.

Miller will continue to rely on ACNielsen for the industry’s most comprehensive retail sales tracking and analysis through its Scantrack®, Liquor Track® and Convenience Track© services; consumer insights through its Homescan consumer panel, which is growing to an industry-leading 125,000 households by October of this year under the company’s “Mega Panel” initiative; retailer-specific analysis through ACNielsen’s Account Level Services, including a new census-based solution custom designed for Miller; and anytime/anywhere Internet-based information access through the ACNielsen Answers portal.
