The Nielsen Company announced today it has signed a new agreement with Skyy Spirits, a Gruppo Campari company and the definitive marketer and distributor of super-premium and luxury spirits brands in North America, establishing Nielsen as its preferred provider of measurement information for Skyy Spirits U.S. retail sales. In addition, Nielsen will perform similar services for Gruppo Campari in Italy, Germany, Brazil and Switzerland.
The multi-year agreement calls for Nielsen to provide scanner sales information covering the food, drug and liquor channels in the U.S. Skyy Spirits also renewed its existing contract for information from Nielsen’s Beverage Data Network, which tracks products from wholesalers to more than 500,000 U.S. retail outlets that sell beverages and spirits for both in-home and out-of-home consumption.
