Keeping your product database up-to-date
An up-to-date product database is the basis of successful merchandising plans. It helps you to create planograms that can be implemented as they are meant to be. However, it's a time-consuming and tedious task.
Utilize relational database power
With your planograms stored in a relational database environment through SPACEMAN Connectivity, you have the basis for increased efficiency of maintenance of your product data and planograms.

Adding, changing and deleting products
Using the same product Add/Change dialog that can be found in the SPACEMAN Suite, SPACEMAN Maintenance Utility provides you with a familiar interface to maintain your product information.
As the generic product data is stored only once, a single change updates all planograms where the product is listed. Whether you change the name, dimensions or even the product ID, the change is automatically applied to all planograms concerned. And if a product is no longer listed in any planogram, it can be deleted quickly.
Listing, de-listing and swapping products
Based on the up-to-date product list, SPACEMAN Maintenance Utility allows you list one or more products in as many planograms as you wish. The new products can be added to the product list, or even placed on a temporary shelf. All in a fraction of the time this would take you to do this manually.
De-listing products from a series of planograms has literally become a process of seconds. After you have selected the product(s) to be de-listed, SPACEMAN Maintenance Utility displays a list with the planograms where the product(s) are listed. Select the planograms that have to be updated and SPACEMAN Maintenance Utility will take care of it.
In case you want to replace one product for another, this process can even be combined to save more time!
