Core Services
TDLinx provides outsourced organization and maintenance of manufacturers’ customer master files and facilitates seamless communication between manufacturers and their service providers regarding the customer or trade dimension of their business. Keeping up with continuous change is a challenge faced by all consumer goods companies on a daily basis. TDLinx monitors and captures all of the critical information related to mergers and acquisitions. This remains key to clients who must solve all of the challenges of organizing and maintaining their customer master files in the face of a constantly changing marketplace. TDLinx delivers the industry-standard TDLinx Channel Database. Updated daily and delivered to clients monthly, the database encompasses over 725,000 stores/outlets, 11,000 accounts and up to five layers of account hierarchy.

TDLinx Codes are unique identifiers for every retail location and on-premise outlet in the database along with every hierarchy level — store/outlet, buying office, owner, distribution center, wholesaler, regional office, corporation and holding company. TDLinx enables you to:

Retail trade channels include grocery, mass merchandiser, drug store, club, liquor, convenience and cigarette outlets; on-premise trade channels include dining, bar/nightclub, lodging, recreation, transportation, caterer and military. The hierarchy of reporting relationships for each store/outlet in the database is also tracked with TDLinx Codes at every level of the owner hierarchy — immediate report-to to ultimate parent. For retail outlets, the primary supplier hierarchy is also available.

TDLinx was built upon the legacy of Trade Dimensions. Since 1969, Trade Dimensions has been recognized as the leading provider and publisher of critical information about retail. Trade Dimensions publishes industry-standard print and electronic directories that include Marketing Guidebook, Market Scope, Directory of Mass Merchandisers and Directory of Convenience Stores.
